Terms & Conditions

Welcome to CulinOps.


These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CulinOps website, web application, and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by CulinOps ("we", "us", "our").


By accessing or using CulinOps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.



1. Eligibility


You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use this Service.



2. Description of Service


CulinOps is a software platform designed to help home kitchen businesses manage operations such as:

  • Orders
  • Inventory
  • Recipes & products
  • Events & pop-ups
  • Expenses & finance insights

CulinOps does not prepare, sell, or deliver food.



3. Account Registration


  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for all activities performed under your account.


4. Subscription Plans & Free Trial


  • CulinOps offers a free trial for 30 days to allow you to explore the platform.
  • Paid subscription plans (Base, Growth, Pro) are billed on a monthly basis.
  • Subscription features and limits vary by plan. Plan limits are enforced in real-time.
  • We reserve the right to change plan pricing, features, or limits with prior notice (at least 30 days).
  • During the free trial, you have access to all features with trial-specific limits.
  • At the end of the trial period, if you do not subscribe, your account will be restricted to read-only mode.


5. Payments & Billing


  • Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, or other authorized payment processors).
  • By subscribing, you authorize us to charge applicable fees on a recurring monthly basis.
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing cycle.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in restricted or suspended access to paid features.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid and authorized.
  • We reserve the right to change our payment methods or gateways at any time.


6. Refunds & Cancellations


Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, available separately.



7. User Responsibilities


You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload false, misleading, harmful, or malicious data or content
  • Attempt to access other users' data, accounts, or systems
  • Interfere with system security, performance, or functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or trial restrictions


8. Data & Ownership


  • You retain full ownership of your business data, including orders, recipes, inventory, customers, and all content you upload.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • We do not claim ownership over your content and will not use your business data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
  • You are responsible for backing up your data. While we maintain regular backups, we recommend you export your data periodically.
  • Upon account termination, you may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.


9. Service Availability


  • We aim for high availability (target uptime of 99.5%) but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We may suspend access for scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions due to factors beyond our control (internet outages, third-party service failures, etc.).
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time with reasonable notice.


10. Termination


By You:

  • You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service at any time.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • You may request account deletion, which will permanently delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).

By Us:

We may suspend or terminate accounts immediately if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity is detected
  • Payment failures occur repeatedly
  • You breach any applicable laws or regulations

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your account and data after a reasonable retention period (typically 30-90 days).



11. Limitation of Liability


To the maximum extent permitted by law:


CulinOps shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Business interruption or loss of data
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.


Use of the Service is at your own risk. We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.



12. Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.



13. Changes to Terms


We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via:

  • Email to your registered email address
  • Notice on the Service
  • Updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
